Windows 7 RC Download

[link to this post]

I've just downloaded Windows 7 and when I extracted, only thing I see on the hard drive, was a text file which says "This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification."

Any ideas?

(I'm using Windows XP).

You have a dodgy copy. Where'd you get it from?

You need to burn it on a disk, not extract it.

Where did you download it from?

It should be a .iso file (around 3GB for the 64bit English version)
If its not that then download it again - preferably directly from microsoft - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/download....

Obviously once you have that file then you'll need to burn it to a DVD using something like Nero or similar

Sorted it out.. I use WinRAR on my system, and noticed that .ISO was ticked. Now got it burnted to a DVD.

Thanks for the replys.

If you extracted the ISO via WinRaR and burnt the resulting folders/files, the DVD won't be bootable. Use something like BurnCDCC or Active@ ISOBurner if Nero or similar isn't available to you.
