server 2003 standard in safe mode

Hi all,

I have been trying to get my server which runs windows server 2003 standard edition to start in safe mode using f8 but with no joy.

What am I doing wrong.

you'll probably need to get into the bios and enable an option something like "legacy support for usb keyboards" or words to that effect.

If all else fails, edit boot.ini and put in the "/safeboot" switch.
