He was a bit of a nerd so I'd be interested to know if any of you folk can confirm/deny.


Hmm. So you don't trust nerds to give you accurate information but you ask for confirmation in a forum full of them? tongue

At least the nerds here aren't, normally, trying to sell you something and, overall, are likely to have a broader experience than someone working in PC World wink

At TESCO this morning, Windows 7 Home Premium Upgrade cost £59 & Windows 7 Professional Upgrade cost £158.

Quick question because I haven't quite got my head round it - does the upgrade version require a pre-installed copy of Vista, or can I install W7 on a blank HDD, just providing the Vista serial or disc?
