Is it worth upgrading?

I use Photoshop Elements 4.0 on my XP PC. Fairly limited stuff but nevertheless a useful program.

I've just found that with the scanner I bought last year there's a copy of Photoshop Elements 6, it says FOR BUNDLES ONLY not to be sold separately.

I can't see anything to say it's in any way a limited version.

Question, is it worth upgrading?

And will it upgrade an existing installation or should I uninstall V4 first?

The Elements disk that came free with my Graphics Tablet as a bundle seems to have no restrictions - if you have the original 4 disk, then I'd put it on - don't really use it as I have photoshop (not that I use that a lot)

Normally installers tell you if they have problems upgrading previous versions (well newer ones - and elements 6 isn't that old) so just do it over the top

Ken

Expecting matters to worsen ensures they do; expecting them to improve is merely foolishness
