I've set my post code on the BBC web site to get local news and weather. In my case the local news is Manchester. When I centre-click (for new tab) on the LOCAL NEWS link on the home page I get a Manchester page which was last updated 1st February and the top headline is about Nat Lofthouse's funeral - and it's been the same old page for a few weeks now. However if I left-clink on the LOCAL NEWS page I get the correct up to date page.
This happens on Firefox (3.6.16), IE 8 and Opera (11.01). On Chrome (10.0.648.204) I get the correct page whether from left click or centre click.
It's not cache as I clear cache regularly. It's not cookies as I rebuilt the PC mid-February, and anyway I've deleted the BBC cookie and allowed it to re-create without any difference.
Why might this be happening?
