windows mobile memory disappearing

I have windows mobile ver 6.1. However the storage memory is going down alarmingly to less than 1 meg without installing any software!!. So how can I find out where the memory gone.

Start->Settings->Memory

On mine there is a Find large files using storage memory link.

Thanks, but I still cannot see how to use this facility to delete unnecessary files. I am just afraid to delete important files!!
