Do we know if this fixes the problems with win7 64 bit when flash videos makes the computer hang?

I am running 10.0 still as it was the last working version.

I read the article and I don't use 64bit browsers just a 64 bit OS and since flash 10.1 any flash video on any 32 bit browser hangs my system.

Oh well I will have to just stick with 10.0 still then and wait for flash 11 and see if that fixes it.

Have you tried the following

-Uninstall all Adobe products from system (Air, Flash, Shockwave, Reader)
-Restart system
-Reinstall latest versions from Adobe website, reboot computer, check issue.
-Try different browser
>> If different browser does not experience issue, problem isolated to specific browser, attempt to reset browser to defaults / upgrade browser / reinstall browser. IE: Tools > internet Options > Advanced > Reset to defaults.
>>>If problem persists, disable graphics acceleration in the browser.
-If problem applies to all browser, attempt to run adobe flash uninstaller: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html *
-Restart computer, reinstall flash, check for issue
-Install latest graphics card drivers
-Install latest audio card drivers
-Check security software which may be configured to "interfere" with web browsing traffic, disable, and retry.
-Check any other software which could be related to problem.

Definitely seems a really strange issue! Never had this problem myself and we have 4 64 bit computers in the house. I'm on one of them now...

I'd look at updating all of your drivers as this is all I can assume is causing the issue.

Also have you tried an alternative browser such as google chrome / firefox and seen if the issue still occurs on these. If not an add on might be the issue. If your already on one of these try IE...

If my flash was causing the PC to hang I'd be tempted to do a reformat / restore to factory settings... afterall flash is v.important.

Also have you looked in event log when this occurs?
