flash is becomign a nuisance.

currently it only checks for an update after a reboot, if you dont reboot often, it can be weeks before you get notified.
downloading via the website is a joke and have to use their DLM.
however there is direct links which are hidden.

I have a guy coding an app which will do the following.

1 - have an app that checks for updates to flash on intervals, or on demand. So program can be left in background or just when want to check on demand.
2 - if update found it will prompt and ask if want to update.
3 - if yes will download standalone installer and run it.
4 - will work for both IE versions and ff/chrome versions.

filehippo also host the proper executables

be sure to tell us when the app is ready (that is if it is for public release)
