Acer Laptop running Windows 7 (all updates applied).
On Boot-up, message says 'C:\Windows\system32\nvcpl.dll' The specified module could not be found.
Doesn't seem to be affecting anything.
Any ideas?
That appears to be the DLL that provides Control Panel functionality for NVidia. I assume it also provides the tray icon functionality. The simplest solution would be to open the services applet (services.msc from a command line or the Run.. box) then disable the "NVIDIA Display Driver Service". It shouldn't do any harm. Even better might be to just remove that service altogether but that's more difficult.
