After much experience with windows, I decided...
If it aint broke, why fix it!?
However, every time an update popped up, I always found myself wanting it...
After everything going wrong far too many times and what felt like a monthly format, I finally switched to mac.
Anyway, the update program seems poorly thought out.
i am like that, I got myself a Corsair SSd unit and a update came out for it, I did not really need the update as the drive was ok, but I thought it may make it a bit faster or something. so I updated and it went wrong. One £150 brick.
I had to send it back to to Corsair and they sent me back a brand new one, which is nice, but it cost me another tenner to send it to them.
I will leave well alone now. At least I can update my motherboard bios any more as there are no more updates.
Macs can have problems, a friend of mine decided to up date her Mac book pro to lion and it all went belly up, with beach ball of death and the machine running really slow. She switched back to the last OS.
She said she is not going to update the other Macs.
I was thinking of getting a Mac, only a Mac mini, hut I don't think I will now as I don't want lion
