Strange Colours in Chrome Browser

Hi
Can someone explain why i occasionally get these colours in my chrome browser? They go away when i click my mouse & graphics card driver is up to date. I'm running Win 7 Professional 64 bit.

have installed latest beta (v 21.0.1180.75) to see if this fixes it and so far so good...touch wood!
