Two problems

My laptop: MSI CR610.

Running Win 7 home premium 64 bit.

First problem and a more recent one is that when I'm scrolling pages in Firefox the writing does not render properly, I would either have to scroll up or down for it to be readable. Does anyone else have this problem in Firefox?

Second problem which has been happening since a reinstalled Win 7 on to my laptop is whenever I unplug the mains charger within five mins or so I lose wireless signal, there is four buttons beside the power on/off button which control different things: webcam/wireless/p1(whatever that does)/eco. Ive to press the wireless a number of times until i can reconnect to my router. This happens until I plug the charger back. What causes this?

If there is any more info needed I will be happy to post it up.

perhaps the battery power profile is turning off the wireless card.

If you dig around in the settings (device manager ?) there'll be a tick box about allowing the system to power down this device. Can't remember where sorry

Thanks for the reply but that box has already been unticked. So there is something else.

The first issue might be down to Firefox bug #812695, as your laptop has Radeon HD4xxx type graphics. There are some example pictures and a possible workaround listed in the bug report.

Try ticking the box to see if that makes a difference.

Ticking the box makes no difference either.

Check Power Option in Control Panel is not set to Eco Mode

Still having issues with the rendering though, dunno what could be causing it.
