Yup. I've done that. I grew the partition in my server when the first drive failed then shrunk it back down when I bought an SSD. TI doesn't bat an eyelid. You just tell it to restore and off it goes. I just wish it didn't run like a Z80 with half the registers missing :-/

I reckon there must be some driver issue somewhere. It's a low power Atom based machine (a Fit-PC2) with 1GB of RAM but Windows 7 installed and ran without needing special drivers. Still - something about the recovery console is clearly not happy :-/

don't talk to me about the Atom smile Sorted out a Atom net top a few weeks back, slow flipping thing, still not as slow as the Celeron Laptop I had to sort out last week.

I just do my backup at night and leave true image to do it's stuff, on restore again i just pop down and watch something on Netflix as it is doing the job.

i will leave the machine putting my image of windows 7 back on when I go to work later, that is if I can find it smile

Yeah, mine takes 17 hours to back up 130GB from an external drive. It seems fine for the internal drive (the one that matters since it has the OS on it - the rest is just ripped music and video). The machine is always a bit clunky but tolerable since it mostly just does it's own thing day in day out and I don't have to go near it.

But TI is the second worst application to run on it. Only TVersity is more painful and that's a Flash based UI. I keep toying with the idea of getting the latest Fit-PC2. There's a dual core unit with 4GB of expandable RAM. But hey - my server meets my current needs and at 5w typical power consumption why change. The new units are nearly double that power consumption laugh
