Windows 8 high cpu during screen saver

Havent noticed this before but when my windows 8 pro turns off the screen, the fan increases to max speed on my desktop indicating high cpu use. Any ideas? Seemed to start when I upgraded my Nvidia drivers but cant be sure.

I've not noticed this with any of my windows 8 machines. Have you got any maintenance tasks set up to run when your machines not being used? Or have you noticed it when you have 1 program running in the background?

Think I have solved it. Downloaded the US version of the Nvidia drivers and after a clean install (reboot) seems fixed.
