How exciting (not)!!

Just got an email, from Microsoft, announcing that it is going to change the name of its SkyDrive to OneDrive!

How earth-shattering exciting!

And I bet someone got paid thousands of dollars to think of that!

They had to change it. Sky objected.

Glad I never made use of their CelestialDrive! 1 less spam and won't have to change all my s/ware & documentation.

25 GB of free online storage (50 GB if, like me, you have two accounts). What an imposition!

I think I will stay with dropbox, it works with Linux, thankfully I don't need a lot of space for what I use it for.

i do have a hotmail/MS account, and I think I got about 25GB of space on their sky/one drive, but i have not really used it.

Windows 8.1 got to be linked to your MS account all the time to use it, at least with windows 8 and below you could just use a application and that was the only thing connected .

And I thought they just called it 'Drive'!
