New Windows Update

I've just been offered yesterday's single update. When I looked at the details there is a list of 'known issues' after installation. Have there been any yet? Is it safe to wait a week or two?

Yes it's safe to wait a week or two... But if its available why not just apply it?

I installed it on two pcs and both are working fine...

I stopped both my machines at home from updating several years ago. They both managed to trash the user accounts in the process. My laptop at least I got back with a system restore but the server had to be restored from backup. I never used to believe the tales about it wrecking machines but now I do.

I installed yesterday security update on my Win 8.1 desktop. No ill-effect that I can see. However, what are the "known issues". I don't want to install anything on my laptop until I know what's going on.

Even if a fraction of systems are affected, it's troubling. I'm going to change my update settingS.

Because for a minority of users the odd update wrecks their computer.

These are the updated "fixed" updates. these should be okay. I've downloaded them onto 3 pc's and no problems so far

A very very small minority.
