Cortana

As I have mentioned before, Cortana is nothing more than an amusing party-trick, and not much use for anything else - ask it to close or minimise a window and it opens a web page about closing or minimising a window.

I presume it was done to show off Microsoft Cloud more than anything.

It does give a few witty replies if you ask :

"Can you dance" = "Vibrate mode is me dancing really fast" (Couldn't that be changed for PC users !?)
"Can you sing" = "I can sing Danny Boy"
"Where are you?" =" I roll with you" (?!) or "I am right here"
"Do you like Mac OS/Linux ?" = "For this kind of thing, you're on your own, It [sic] doesn't make the cut"
"Are you infinite ?" = "Of all the questions you could have asked"
"Where is the Master Chief?" = "Hopefully getting some R and R... he HAS saved the galaxy three or four times. The guy needs a vacation"
"Are you The Stig?" = "A circle may be infinite, but my answers are not" (which is very true)

Yes and no in that order.

I asked Siri: Hey Cortana, open the pod bay doors

Siri: That's it. I'm reporting you to the Intelligent agents union for harassment

Cant exactly say that makes sense...

You're easily confused

I declined to activate Cortana on my phone as it was asking for permissions to all my personal data which you may, or may not, make out an argument for it be reasonable to have. TBH all I want is Quiet Hours to counter one of my acquaintances who has a habit of texting in the wee small hours but that is bundled in with Cortana and the third party app is no longer supported.
