What's the "everyday use" got to do with it? Isn't turning it on sufficient for it to get most stuff?
Isn't even turning off all the grabs after letting it install with them all one a bit too late for some things?
That's assuming doing the Custom Install doesn't take what it wants as a once-off before disabling the grabs.
I am still using Windows 8.1, windows 10 was on a old drive using the insider program, but that hard drive went belly up. When I say everyday use I meant if i updated my Windows 8.1 to 10.
But you are right, we have no idea what info is grabbed on install, but i do know one thing if i do update to 10, like Windows 8.1, i will never connect it to a MS account.
