Facebook shortcut list

On the Facebook Home page there's a list on the left, one area of which is SHORTCUTS. Currently I have one closed group in the list. Having just joined another closed group I'm trying to see how to add that group to the list.

All the Google searched I've tried come up with either a list of shortcut keys, or how to put a shortcut link to FB on the Windows Desktop.

Anyone able to help me please?

Click on the word "groups" (on the LHS menu)

Takes you to https://www.facebook.com/groups/?category=membership

Click on the gear icon by the group you want to add to favorites then click "add to favorites"

Thanks, that's added it to my Favourites, but it's still not in the Shortcut list. Trouble is I've no idea how I managed to get the first group in that list.

What happens if you right-click on it? Context menus often contain something like "Create shortcut" and sometimes you can specify where.

Right click gives a standard browser context menu, nothing specific to FB frown
