I think IE11 developed that leak two updates ago. It has started frequently stopping/freezing half way through a page load, or even with the underlying background all there is on these forums.

I haven't done any detailed analysis looking for tech details, but it is several times a week. The laptop is turned off every night.

And another thing!

It's added an "Edge" link right next to the IE11 New Tab button, same size. So you have to be ultra-careful opening a new tab, especially on my touchscreen.

This was just the main rollout. I don't think there was any option not to take it.

Thanks Jon.

I expect I would have found that some time between six and 18 months from now LOL, probably when I buy a new machine and set many options there.

That's if IE11 is still allowed on new machines by then.

Thanks again, job done.
