Unnecessary Win-10 Notifications!

Every few months, Windows 10 sends me a Notification that my Outlook Settings are "Out-of-Date". Unfortunately it does NOT bother to explain just what aspect is "allegedly" out of date.

Clicking on the Link takes me to Outlook which, AGAIN, does NOT indicate anything that is out-of-date.

Also, when clicking into the Outlook Settings, NOTHING is shown as needing to be changed and/or updated!!

I close out of the Settings & Outlook, Notification is gone!

Seems to be a frustratingly pointless exercise!!

This is why I just want an Os to be an OS and is one of the reasons i do not really want to go to windows 10.

No in both cases!

Which Outlook? The Outlook email client on your PC or the Outlook.com Webmail system? Thank MS for the confusion.

Outlook doesn't come with Win 10. It is part of the MS Office package.

Perhaps you mean the Mail app that comes with Win 10 and is the subject of the article posted by the other poster?
