Stupid Uninformative Windows 10 Update system!!!

I keep getting "Failed to Install" for "2017-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1607 for x64-based Systems (KB4025339)", but NO actual information about why it has failed.

It then takes forever going onto "Checking for Updates", but NEVER confirms if it is available (& certainly doesn't tell me what is its download size)!

Suddenly, it goes to "Preparing to Install", but then hangs at 10% for ages. Finally I get the "Failed to Install" message again!

EDIT to add:-
Now updated to Creator Edition, hence don't have to worry about this update anymore!

Error information for Windows has always been extremely poor - and has never really been looked at..
