Microsoft issues emergency Windows update for processor security bugs

my advice is to not update any patch with regards this flaw until such time it has been deemed safe to do so otherwise your system could become very sluggish or fail to boot

MS patches are available at below link.

Use at own risk although they are being pushed out over Windows Update.

Got the: 2018-01 Security Monthly Quality Rollup for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB4056894) on my Win 7 machine this morning. I assume thats the processor fix and monthly update rolled out early aswell?
