Still using Office 2007

Firstly, how valid are the warnings about security issue for a low use person? Are they over blown?

I am another for whom 365 is not viable. and the likes of Libre I am not comfortable with.
Has anyone come across a reliable source of legacy versions e.g 2010 and 2013?
I gather that a CD is hardly ever supplied, and I'm unsure,if I could download to disk or emory stick to ensure a backup, then install it from there.

Please assist this dummy!

Office 2016 is available in a non-subscription version, Office 2019 will be too.

2016 home and student is £120 at Currys as a perpetual license.

£89 on Amazon. But caution is needed there, the cheap copies (Professional Plus) are MSDN licences not intended for resale, and the key can be deactivated by Microsoft for this reason.

Use anti virus and malware checker and you'll be ok.

I still use XP with office 2K on 2 PCs with no issues at all.
