Computers are extremely complicated systems. It's a wonder that they work at all.

FWIW the drivers for my ZxR were rudely replaced by Windows Update a few days ago too (from what I can see). Didn't actually notice till I had to switch to headphones.

I guess Creative messed up a few drivers when they published to Windows Update.
