wow, got to be the Arm version.

I have found some things out by having a muck around.

Windows 11 will run without TPM and secure boot, turn them both off and it works fine.
It will not install with TPM switched off, but there is a trick that can be used to allow it to be if you require it.
It will install with secure boot turned off, not sure if it will install if there is no secure boot option in the bios.

I really don't see the point in TPM being a requirement,

I've converted all my disks to GPT from MBR and installed on a partition on a second SSD. Runs quite well and is quite fast. Had to redo backups after GPT change.

There is one of the Htler Parodies on Win11 ... well worth watching. However, with some of te language, Seb may object to a link.

I thought all modern machines used GPT, the only machines I used with MBR was my mates old machines and that was over a year ago.

Quick to install as well, that is more like it,
Taskbar can now be put on multiple monitors, and they have a new search box in the start menu, along with a load of fixes.

Not sure about the search box, I never used the one on Windows 10, there need to be some way to disable it, I suppose that will come later.

I still can't get used to the new context menus in Explorer,, keep trying to find cut, copy, paste, rename and move to bin in the list, also WinRAR is on the more options.
i know it is still early days and things may change, but i would really like to be able to put Winrar on the main context menu.

My Insider preview of Windows 11 is running perfectly on a couple of old Dell Optiplex supposedly incompatible machines. Never really loved Windows 10 despite helping to create it, but Windows 11 looks like a winner and restrictions like secure boot that can easily bypassed are more about software control.

Yes, got the update on both of the old Optiplex machines I have it running on and would have no worries about it on my main PC.

You don't need it. Just download Windows 11 insider preview ISO and install manually after joining as an insider. Also, search for appraiserrs.dll to swap out and all checks then bypassed!
