Moving to Zen - A few Questions

[link to this post]

Hi,

I intend to move to Zen in the next week or so and I have a few questions that maybe someone from Zen could answer before I sign up.

1. I'm currently with Pipex and they've unbundled my line (I'm still getting my phone through BT and I don't use the Pipex homecall service). Will this make it difficult to migrate?

2. I'm interested in 'Zen 8000 Active' but what's the difference between Home Office and Home versions? They're both the same price and they seem to have the same features. I work from home sometimes and I'm not sure which version I would need.

3. Can I pay Quarterly or even Yearly in advance instead of Monthly?

Kind Regards
Garry

1) Can't answer - sorry

2) The "SOHO" page shows prices excluding VAT and the "Home" page shows prices including VAT which I believe is the only difference. So, it's basically the same service

3) Again can't answer.

1) It'll mean it takes longer, but in principle it should be just as easy. get a LLU mac code from Pipex and fill it on on the order form / give it to the salesperson and we can take it from there.

2) They are the same - its just presented with/without VAT on the 2 pages to make it easier for home/office users to compare prices.

3)Yes - you can pay monthly, quarterly or annually (still a 1 month contract whichever you choose, so if you needed to leave for some reason you'd be refunded any unused service you'd paid for)

How much longer does it take to migrate, and is there a fee? I'm also running from Pipex and have my MAC ready but have noticed that some ISPs on my shortlist charge over
