Usually about 5 to 7 working days, I think.

Might depend on the exchange - my move took 5 days - straddling a weekend, so 3 working days. Only lost my connection for the time it took to reboot the router with the new details.

3-5 business days. And the old line should stay active for approx. 2 days after the activation date. This will allow the customer to enter the details and reboot the modem without losing connection.

Are you on commission or something ? What does it matter what ISP your friend uses ? What if he tries Zen and doesn't like it ? He might never speak to you again

Hi Pipexer,

The lead time will depend on whether he is migrating from an ISP using BT Wholesale or an LLU provider. If it's using BT Wholesale then it will take 3 working days, if it's currently on LLU it will take 6-7 working days.

I am a good person, I like reccomending people good ISP's :-) ...Not only that but it stops them pestering me when things go wrong (and that is very often with AOL... )
