I've started to look after a large majority Zen Broadband accounts across properties in Bucks and one of the properties I recently installed broadband into has been very bizarre.
For weeks it can be solid and then it'll just start playing up and disconnect for a few days.
I've been through most of the usual suspects
- Filters
- Two routers
- Checking for interference (internal and external)
- Making sure computer is set correctly
- Turn off all P2P (bandwidth heavy stuff)
I haven't had time to investigate the test socket which is my last option and I've bought a Clarity IT faceplate but the speed is very slow and attenuation is unusually high, although it is in a block of flats.
I'm running out of options but I would prefer if the connection is solid.
Any ideas? I've fiddled with loads of connections and I'm fairly clued up on broadband so have exhausted every piece of advice I can find.
