When FTTC

I have for some time been trying to find out when FTTC will be made available to me.
I live near the centre of a large city, my exchange and most of the cab connected to it have been enabled but there is no public information for when my Cab will be.

I seems the only way to find out is to speak to BT Wholesale, I did find a support contact for them but they will not speak to end user's only to providers.

Any chance some one from Zen could reach out for me and ask the question?

My parents get that but underneath they get that their exchange is going to be enabled in 2014. they are out in the sticks and the cab they are on is a big one it has to server over 500 properties so the chances of it not being enabled are very slim to none. (as they would be missing off an entire town)

So take the results with a pinch of salt.

Probably one to watch...

Rochdale (the exchange I'm on) has been enabled for a while. There is an FTTC cab at the top of the road which was enabled 18 months ago, but I'm on a newer development and my cab is across the road from the FTTC one (diagonally on a staggered cross-road - about 20 metres away from each other), and has not been done and currently isn't planned. Sadly I'm stuck with 3.5Meg.

I have been asking the top brass of BT for the past 3 years as to why our cabinet next to Gatwick airport is still not enabled for FTTC despite the fact they said they would look into it and get back to me

Peter cowen is still in the dark at this time but sounds on the phone decent but 3 years on they still haven't a clue as to why and what the delay is but keep telling me on the phone soon not much longer fingers crossed and the like and what a saint i am for putting up with such dreadful; service

Lucky i have their mobile number otherwise you be better off asking the cat as to how and when things are done

I'm surprised that their even in business and am most grateful i don't work for them

Cab 50 on Crawley exchange is https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/50+High+St/@51.1... I believe and I would not say that was on the edge of Gatwick Airport but in the middle of Crawley

Cab 50 on Crawley exchange does seem to be in the scope of the West Sussex BDUK project, so maybe later in the year. Some 50+ postcodes on the exchange might be lucky enough to get FTTP too if the plans work out.
