New customer, connecting to London when close to Manchester

I've just signed up to Zen fibre 100 and although I'm in Lancashire not far from Manchester I seem to be connecting go London and then Bristol rather than Manchester. Is this something they have any control over and worth a call to them or is it just random and I'm stuck with it?

Also only seem to be getting around 93mbps even though 100 is meant to be average.
