Anyone having sync issues on the Rochdale LLU?
Yesterday and today at around 20:15 the line just drops and I re-sync at anything from 300k to 700k with a low SNR, around 10. My normal figures are SNR around 14 and attenuation around 52 on a Vigor 2600+ and a 2mb service.
No audible noise on the line, removed all equipment but the router, reflashed the firmware with a different version, etc, but cannot get above 1mb. Same story last night, didn't get back to 2mb until this morning.
There's no electrical item suddenly switching on here, certainly nothing different to any other night.
Any ideas?

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, but is Zen still doing LLU in Rochdale now, as the web site appears to have had the "Rochdale LLU" options removed completely from the zenbroadband.com site?

I noticed the option was gone but I'm on it - not had any notice that it's being withdrawn

All appears as normal here. Draytek 2600 router (oldschool edition). SNR is normal. Last resync was on Jun 17 01:19:31 with a loss-of-exchange error (I assume that's what "LoX" represents)...
ADSL_Status:[Mode=G.DMT States=SHOWTIME UpSpeed=736000 DownSpeed=1120000 SNR=0.0 Atten=61.5]
ADSL Phy LoX Defect = 0x854
DSL: ADSL ES=3508 > allowed & UncorrectBlocks=364251 > 5000, Reset it
DSL: ADSL Booting.....
...and reconnected, at an increased rate, at Jun 17 01:25:55...
ADSL_Status:[Mode=G.DMT States=SHOWTIME UpSpeed=800000 DownSpeed=1120000 SNR=17.0 Atten=61.5]
My line is quite distant so I expect a few hiccups every now and then though resyncs are fairly infrequent (once every few days or so).
I don't know why I sync at 800000 sometimes but I'm not going to complain! The upstream tends to vary a little bit... nothing of concern though.
hth.

Yikes, I hope not, LLU rules. I'd be gutted to have to go back to B.T.'s collossal mess. :/

I have to admit it's never been as good as my 1mb NDO connection.
When I moved to Zen on the 2mb LLU I got one 30 day connection straight away no trouble, then frequent disconnects started. Turned out to be a line fault, you could hear noise on the line. The SNR would fluctuate wildly then drop.
That got fixed but after about 2 weeks the odd drop would happen, learned to live with it. The SNR doesn't fluctuate at all, just drops and re-syncs. Can go 5 days or 5 hours.
But this episode has just been last night and tonight, I'm still at 768k down, up syncs at 896k every time. The line sounds o.k., I'm starting to wonder if my Vigor is playing up even though I had no issues at all with NDO.

And just following up, my evening problems do start with an LoX error in the log.
I don't know what the exchange set-up is...is it possible I could be on a flaky piece of equipment?

My downstream sync has never been anything other than 1120000 here (1 meg line). Just the upstream varies every now and then ( Image).

No idea to be honest though I'd guess at it being a line issue if anything. Maybe give the Zen chaps a call if it becomes a problem, sure they'll help.

I was thinking more "withdrawn from new sale" rather than existing customers.
I'm interested to know if it is the case.
