Whats a CBUK and a FT number??

My zen order status says: Waiting for activation date, CBUK number, & FT number

But what on earth are a CBUK & FT number??? Never heard of such a thing!

Hi

CBUK Number is the is the BT circuit reference number for your existing ADSL broadband service.

Dont have a clue what FT is (apart from Financial Times)

I'd hazard a guess that the FT number would be the MAC code as for IPStream they start FTIP.

Hi Sean,

CBUK is the Circuit ID and FTIP (or BBIP for newer connections and BBDS for Datastream) is the Service ID

CBUK identifies your ADSL circuit's ID, and FTIP/BBIP identifies your circuit too, except it's more used for billing than engineering.
