speed test advice request

lo all

just noticed things seem a bit slower on my comp not sure if its my end or not..

my speed test result is here and its a legacy 2gb line ..

im not knowingly uploading/downloading anything at the moment and my computer is virus scanned and defragged etc...

...in which case that is a pretty poor test result!

Of course if it's a 2Mb line, then it's not a bad result at all.

cheers i think i nailed the problem my routers poorly i think.. ..

Ive changed the tcp/ip properties on my computer in the network connections page..

I altered it to use a specific ip addy 192.168.1.xxx on the network and set the router ip as the gateway and put the zen dns servers in and its much faster..

previously it was set to obtain an ip address automatically from the router which has always worked previously ..

havent a clue why its any different but it is ...
