Router error stats !

Hi there,

Just a quick question, should I be worried about the amount of errors that my router is recording?

I have tried to sort the problem but nothing seems to reduce the amount.

I don't think so.

I have same sync as you. I haven't experienced any problems. Have you considered getting interleaving turned off to give you the extra 512 sync?

They're FEC errors, which have already been corrected. Proves interleaving is working. 18,000 in 14 hours is no problem.

That's nothing.

My FEC(INTERL) Far error figure is over 953,000,000 in a little over 18 hours!

Thanks for your replies guys, I know my FEC count is not bad but I was referring to the ones that I have marked as bold.

Before a week ago I had no error count for "Error Seconds" and my FEC and CRC error count was only for Down and not Up.

Was something that I noticed and just wanted to make sure it was not a problem, I have no disconnection or speed problems, was just a general inquire.

Those figures don't look too bad. FEC is corrected errors so not really a worry, it's when CRC and HEC start ramping up you need to pay attention. HTH

Glad I looked here as I was worried at having just seen 8,500 FEC Count in 12 hours of Max. Not thing I've seen before having been on fixed 2mb.
