IPv6 Preparatory Work

Just seen this on the Zen Status page:

Zen Engineers will be performing IPv6 preparatory work. Although no customer impact is anticipated, the core network should be considered at-risk for the duration of the maintenance window.
The work will take place at the following times:
04/04/2011 00:00 - 02:00
05/04/2011 00:00 - 05:00
07/04/2011 00:00 - 02:00
11/04/2011 00:00 - 05:00

Looks like IPv6 is on the way.

While we are undertaking work to deliver IPv6 capability, the alerts you've mentioned are just part of a much larger project to deliver this. The work is ongoing, and as soon as we have any further information on the details and timescales we'll make an announcement to advise everyone of this.
