Re: ADSL2+ enabled, no regrade option yet.....

On my up to 8Mbit option I connected at 8064kbits.

Yes, I put in to upgrade and was told that today would be the day. I got an email early hours of this morning to say that it had gone through and to turn off the router etc. Did all that, no change. 8064 whatever I do.
I got onto customer support this morning and after a bit of investigation was told that although I had been upgraded, BT's profile still had me on 8Mbit, but that it would be changed sometime today.

Well, there's still time for it to happen, but it hasn't yet.

Well I'm regraded now, as my nice new speeds below show. Many thanks to BCS for his help.

I'm a little baffled by the synch speeds though. I've had to reboot the router a few times and get very different synchs, anywhere between 16Mb and 18Mb, always with a low SNRM of 3-6db.

I'm guessing that the low SNRM is good, and showing that the MSAN isn't imposing a "safety margin" on the connection, but howcome the synch speeds vary so much?

When I had an 18Mb synch the line was nice and stable?

Cheers,
AP

With ADSL2+ at those speeds small changes in noise can affect you a fair bit
