Avoiding Fibre Install Offer?

[link to this post]

Is it possible to order fibre broadband without accepting the free installation offer?

Or is the only way to wait until after 6th Jan to place the order?

(I don't want to commit for 24 months)

Thanks

So the install isn't really free, hence why 18mth / 2yr , IMO if the customer is willing to pay the full £100 instal cost for fttc then they should be able to get a short term rolling monthly contract, why the instistance on a min of 12mths ?

Also:-

Does an FTTC connection come with the option of 8 fixed ipv4 addresses?

Line One:- Zen - DrayTek Vigor 2600VG
Line Two:- EntaNet (Aquiss) - DrayTek Vigor 2600

There are a lot of customers who want the long contract so they have the install cost nor the cost of buying the modem.

If you don't want the 24month contract, call our sales department and order it from them smile I think they may be able to do this for you.

Blame BT Openreach. 12 months minimum at the moment.

Just out of interest; if I opted for a 24 month contract, what would happen if the price dropped during that time? Would I benefit from the reduced price, or be locked in at the current price for the full term?

Thanks

I would suggest the price would be matched. However not being ins Sales or CS I don't delve into the cost side too much.

As an Update,

I have spoken to Sales and you can opt for the 12Month contract without the free modem and by paying the install cost.

All the Best,

Errm surely you mean router, not modem? As the BT Openreach modem is the NTe and is part of the install it's self, As i'm sure that they will always leave the customer with a working service, where possible
