A bit unfair. I have been a very happy Zen customer for the past 18 months. Their network is robust, and I cannot ever recall an outage. My speeds - up until now - have varied very little. My current problem is a concern as it is intermittent. I prefer hard faults. My dilemma is simply this. If there is any risk of a £220 charge then it would be cheaper for me to install a second phone line and BB service and then terminate Zen. That is not what I want to do but it does make one think.

As I understand it, Openreach charge the ISP and the ISP decides whether to charge you or not.
