No internet since Thursday

Hi , our exchange was upgraded to ADSL2+ last Thursday, and since the change I can no longer connect to the net , the modem is synching at 16000 kbps down and 1200 kbps up .
I'm using a friends wireless to post this so does anyone know f the netgear 834 gt is ok for adsl2+ ? it's connecting and constantly disconnecting plus error seconds are going through the roof ! pulling my hair out here !

It should be fine but it may be trying too hard and constantly dropping sync.

Make sure its running latest firmware for your version

Curious why you haven't just phoned Zen support?

I had exactly this (also on Thursday, as it happens), and one call to Zen Tech Support resulted in them rebuilding the connection and it was working again within a couple of minutes.

Tried phoning , after been on hold for over 1/2 hour i gave up , I not got time to be hanging about on phones !!

You could try running the Setup Wizard while you are waiting. I am using a DG834GT without any problems on ADSL2+. Is yours set, in adsl advanced settings, to multimode ?? or ads2+ or G.DMT.

While I am sure you are Zen staff, we have no way of proving this. You need to PM seb/john/MrSaffron and get your ISP credentials vertified.
