Fair comment...Zen are my ISP and I would expect them to do what they need to do. It's them you need to influence though as you can't go direct to BT.
What I cannot fathom is why the switch of my telephone service to Zen went without a hitch but the broadband service ordered at the same time failed. If it is caused as Mr Saffron suggests by a difference in address details why did both switches not fail?

Phone and broadband with Plusnet before. Phone now transferred to Zen broadband still with Plusnet.

Do all your details with PlusNet exactly match what you have given Zen? Did you get the letter from PlusNet about leaving?

All details are not an exact match as Plusnet use an automated address finder it will not accept that I have no street name and fill in the blank line with the name of the village again. I got an email from Plusnet confirming I was leaving for telephone services and saying as yet they had not been informed about my leaving for broadband.
