Eight IP Range -- set up help

[link to this post]

It has been a long while since I've set something up (10+ years on a Draytek ..) but would now like to use my multiple IPs again using the FritzBox but seem to be having some problems.

I have set up the public IPV4 subset on the router and everything works okay. I have gone to a windows PC and set up a static IP of one of the other IP addresses and if I whatismyip.com then that is fine too. However, I cannot access it across the internet for web server or Remote Desktop. Do I have to set up some forwarding on the FritzBox?

Thanks for any help.

Just answering my own question:

You have to make sure that you delete the old DHCP address for your device from the FritzBox interface otherwise it remembers and nothing works. When you have the new visible IP address shown, go to Internet Settings, Permit Access and then open all the ports you want. Your computer is then exposed to the world.
