F&W Networks

[link to this post]

Hi All,

F&W Networks are covering my town with fibre, and it should hopefully be available to me in a couple of months. At the moment they seem to only provide their service via a sister ISP called Hey!Broadband.

Does anyone know if Zen are going to partner with them? I'd like to stay with Zen, but F&W are my only fibre option until CityFibre start/finish their build (no idea when they'll start).

Cheers,
Andy

I'm in the same position as you the only difference is that Cityfibre is live in my street now but Zen have nothing planned for my city at the moment so it looks like I'll be jumping ship when my contract ends and going with Brawband

I thought Zen re-sold CityFibre?

To be honest, like you, I'll be jumping ship if a better technology becomes available from other ISPs. Other posts seem to suggest that Zen don't even answer sales emails any more...

They do resell cityfibre but obviously not in Inverness as they said they have nothing planned.
I do think city fibre are missing a trick by only having the 1 supplier

I thought they also sold to retail and business customers themselves?

It might be limited to areas where Zen have a LLU presence. I noticed Zen+Cityfibre areas are lower than cityfibre areas, luckily my city Does have Zen backhaul, so when they get to my address I will be able to use Zen.
