I haven't heard anything from anyone yet so it might not be a full fix, but for the first time since setting up the Samknows box on the migrated connection, it's started reporting test results of over 900Mbps since about 10:00 yesterday.

This is not due to a change on the Zen side. I do see the interface on our exchange equipment terminating the GEA Cable Link dropped for 2 minutes, and the connection has been good since. I'm trying to find out what happened on the OR side during that outage.

Very interesting. Hopefully they're able to give you an answer. It will be interesting to hear what they've done, and hopefully they'll be able to replicate the fix for others affected by this issue.

Two minutes... feels like a firmware update?

A change of settings would result in less interruption, and a major hardware replacement likely more. There is potentially a range of items from optics to cards which could take two minutes to replace.

FakeJake - did your BQM record anything on the BT Wholesale line at 1000 on Friday?

Hard to keep tabs of all the updates…

Did I miss that in the thread?: Quite a step change in min. latency on the GEA/Zen backhauled connection at 2pm on Monday.

That was me reconnecting to get a different gateway as part of testing

Is that the second line card on this OLT they’ve swapped now?

The first one failed about 11/12 days ago…
