Sogea migration email

Just had an email from Zen asking me to confirm within 7 days whether I want to keep my voice service or not when they switch to SOGEA and giving me 2 links - one to say I want to keep it, one to say I don't.

Unfortunately, nothing in the email says which of the 3 phone lines (2 with broadband, once voice only) this might be referring to...

Currently on hold to customer services while they try to work it out, but there's no obvious info they can see on the account to say I'd even been sent this email.

Another thread is saying that this is a marketing email, which if so is somewhat misleading from Zen as I've had it too and it reads like an account message that you have to act now or migration will take longer later.

However as others have said, while I might like to keep my {landline} number I likely don't want any inclusive calls if I already pay for that on mobile, so I need to see what the options will be nearer the time.



prlzx on Zen: FTTC (VDSL) at ~40Mbps / 10Mbps
with IP4/6 (no v6? - not true Internet)

I've just had a call back from Zen who confirmed it was a marketing email and that none of my services are changing any time soon. Was just to help them gauge likely demand for the different options.

Not at all impressed with this behaviour.

It really was depressing attempt
And none of the tech people had even any knowledge of such email
Just plain awful!
