2300Mbps Service

[link to this post]

For the first time, I am seeing a 2300Mbps offer for my address. Am I correct in thinking that this would be on the Freedom Fibre network? Zen's website doesn't make this clear.

I ask because I know that Freedom Fibre fibre optic cables were installed in my Close 5 years ago but it has never been available as a connection option. My present ISP which also offers Freedom Fibre services is showing that it is unavailable in my area whereas IdNet and squirrel confirm that it is. I confess that I am confused.

Any Freedom Fibre network issues that I should be aware of on a Zen connection?

Why don't you ask Zen? (Never heard of Freedom Fibre; if that's a widespread experience then you are not likely to get a direct answer to your question here. )

Because for 2 days running I have failed to get through to them on the number cited on their website. Moreover, the Zen website that an order cannot be placed with them online.

From the ThinkBroadband website:

Zen Internet now utilizes the Freedom Fibre network to offer award-winning, high-speed broadband to homes and businesses across the UK. This partnership brings Zen’s renowned customer service and reliability to areas covered by Freedom Fibre's alternative network (altnet)
