Plusnet speeds at peak times

[link to this post]

You guys getting much slow downs round peak times with Plusnet? Do you get good speeds and is it a reliable connection?

I am with NewNet and get good speeds 24/7 between 5 + 6.9Mb's,but looking to move for finance reasons and the fact my Landline provider Mercury Telecom has run into troubles and stopping fixed Line services. So I have to find a new provider ASAP to pay my line rental too and get inclusive phone calls free evening and weekends before my phone and broadband gets cut off.NewNet dont do Line Rental and I dont want to go back to BT,they do have an offer on off free evening and weekend calls for 12 months but its an 18 month contract.er...... no ta.

Was tempted to try the Post office but its still new and the few comments I have seen on sites are not good about the broadband so far, mainly with getting equiptment, welcome pack with user details, actual start up of service and customer support. Not heard what the speed or how realible the servive is but there is plenty of bad things to start off with.LOL.

It depends a lot which product you choose and what protocols you are looking at in terms of speed. We try very hard to set realistic expectations and even harder to meet them!
