Hi folks, it's nice and quiet in here these days.
Anyway I have a question; Does anyone know when Plusnet dropped Premier Option 3 for Business users?
They remodelled their business tariff and 41 seems to be the top rate now. What I would like to know it when this happened and how it is so that we have 3 business lines costing us 76.36 per month.

In years gone by it was usual for PN to introduce cheaper identical packages, but not inform customers on the higher tariffs.
Nowadays if a mistake was found to have been made PN will admit to it and refund the over payment.

I initially phoned up to query it (btw, it's slightly confusing that the packages online don't include VAT; understandable since I was looking at a business package perhaps, but it would be nice to see both totals or a 34*) and was told that there would be no charge (I nearly laughed) to move me to the 'new' product since prem option 3 is no longer offered but, we would have to enter in to a new 12 month contract. This seems a little unfair so I will be creating a ticket. just curious as to when they stopped offering prem option 3.

I can't find any reference to VAT being extra. It clearly states, only 34.99 per month BUY NOW!. Neither can I find any references to contract length.

The above post has been made by an ISP REPRESENTATIVE (although not necessarily the ISP being discussed in the post).

Look to the bottom of the page, there is a (All prices exclude VAT) message. TBH it is normal for business products to be advertised ex VAT since many businesses are able to claim any VAT payments back. General consumers are unlikely to be VAT registered though so will pay VAT, hence why I believe it is law that prices are advertised inc VAT.
To the OP, Premier accounts stopped being sold sometime last year when the newer accounts were launched. There are differences with between the accounts, hence why no one has been moved over unless they request it.

In which case the headline price should say excl VAT or a least a *
http://www.plus.net/business/broadband/business.shtml is very misleading bearing in mind some residential users and small business users who can't claim VAT look to Business accounts for faster upload speeds. I thought PN had sorted such things out by now

Obviously one is price. I assume the newer ones are cheaper?.

The information is there and clear enough in the terms at the bottom of the page. Residential and business customers can see it easily enough. This is not a very misleading web page or even a hard to read one.

Do you have to scroll down to read it???
Is it given the same prominance as the headline price???
