Just noticed Plusnet offer an extra 10mb upload speed. Also plusnet have the line saver option and their phone service offers free evening and weekend calls. My sky phone service i only get free weekend calls

The broadband is fine from sky, nice and fast etc. But the router is terrible for wireless!

Line saver doesn't include any calls
Just because Plusnet offer a 40/20 is no guarantee that you will get anywhere near it - it all depends on the distance from the Cab

In reply to a post by steve99999:
if i get my mac code
If you are on Sky Full LLU, Sky won't give MAC; it is not applicable to Full LLU.

When I rang sky to get my MAC code, they asked what deal I was thinking on, which was PN fibre and LRS. Sky offered LRS to me for £140 for the year.,I can't actually see it on the website though.

Remember the cheap Sky FTTC is 40/10, not 40/20.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 55.2/14.1Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

Indeed, the sky agent when I rang last wk told me it was 40/20 the same as plusnt, but not restrictions.

Do you know if I was to take the sky offer for the 12 months, and then see what PN is offerings, would it be a pain to port form a LLU phone back to BT.As I had read that problems can happen. If its a problem then I may just not bother with the deal as tempting as it is smile

They lied. I wouldn't expect anything less from Sky sales.
