I am still on 2 upload. Does anyone have any idea how quickly the increased speed will be rolled out?

I upgraded from ADSL to fibre after I heard the news. Plusnet dmployees themselves appear to not have heard these news, because this is the service they ordered for me:

Provisioned Service 'WBC FTTC Annex A 02Mbit/s Up, 40Mbit/s Down, Standard Stability' added as a part of Account Change process

(for my usage I would have to be on the 1Tb plan, and the price difference is too high)

40/2, 40/10, 55/10 and 80/20 are still the current Openreach products. And re kasg there is no mention in the Openreach "Future price notifications" of 40/2 withdrawal.

Out of these Broadband Speed rates RobertoS mentiones (above) which ones are currently Valid Products with Plusnet or to shortly be made available?

I'm to renew my PN Fibre next month and I think a 55/10 product would suit me well, yet I haven't seen it on PlusNet's site. Have I missed something or does anyone know if a 55/10 package is on the horizon for Plusnet?

Plusnet themselves don't know that. A month before this upload speed increase was announced I phoned Plusnet and asked if they were planning to do this - and they didn't know what to tell me.
PN's current offerings are 40/2 (to be upgraded to 40/10 by end of the month) and 80/20. Nothing in between.

I wanted to move to PN to get an idea of the usage and then to AAISP - but in the last week watching some of the 4K content we get on IPTV as well as streaming Sky channels we are racking up over 80GB a day. So unless that can come down it won't be possible - I might as well go back to TTB as (unlike shitenet) they don't block it every time a footy match is on!
